Meet Violette Skye DFW

Every rescue has a beginning, and Violette Skye's started beneath an old, broken-down truck.

This sweet young girl had taken up residence under the truck, finding security, shade, and shelter she could from the scorching Texas summer. Kind neighbors made sure she had food and kept a watchful eye on her, but they knew she deserved so much more than simply surviving.

That's when Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue was called... and the rest is the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

Now safe in a loving foster home in the DFW area, Violette Skye is slowly discovering that the world doesn't have to be so scary. With each passing day, her confidence grows as she learns that gentle hands bring comfort, full bowls arrive on time, and kind people can be trusted. She's still finding her footing, but beneath her cautious exterior is a sweet, gentle soul just waiting to blossom.

Violette Skye is looking for a patient family who will give her the time, love, and reassurance she needs to continue building confidence at her own pace. Watching a shy dog realize she's finally safe is one of life's greatest rewards, and we know her best days are still ahead.
