Meet dakota
Dakota is a sweet and intelligent dog, who has been through multiple homes and through the NYC kennels since being found as a stray. He has a lot to learn still behaviourally, and his puppy energy combined with the stamina of an adult dog means he requires patient correction. He would do much better in a home with a yard or his own space where he could exercise and play without being constrained by indoor manners at all time.
He is reactive to dogs and humans, but has shown positive progress and no signs of hostility, just needs a lower density environment than NYC to really unfold and de-stress. the ability to chew and run outside would do a lot to mitigate his current mouthiness. He would be a handsome and faithful forever friend to anyone with the capacity to give him the love and space he needs.
