Meet montrell/monty
I am looking to rehome my Presa Canario, Montrell/Monty.
I have a beautiful Presa named Monty who means the world to me. He is incredibly loving and affectionate with me, and inside the house he’s the sweetest dog. Unfortunately, he has recently shown reactive behavior. He bit someone once and has a tendency to lunge at people.
I know these behaviors are beyond what I’m equipped to safely manage on my own. Monty needs experienced, consistent behavioral training, and at this point I simply don’t have the time or financial resources to provide him with the level of professional help he deserves. I am also moving in 10 days, which makes this situation even more urgent.
This decision is absolutely heartbreaking because I love him with my whole heart. But I also have to be realistic about what’s safest for everyone involved, including Monty. He deserves someone with the knowledge, experience, and resources to help him succeed.
