Meet glansdale

Glansdale is a young lab/retriever mix who brings manor‑level energy everywhere he goes. At 38 pounds with a little more growing to do, Glansdale is a rambunctious, ready‑to‑roll adventurer who treats every day like an amazing new adventure.
He’s a black‑coated burst of enthusiasm, the kind of dog who wakes up already halfway through his first zoomie. Glansdale is seeking a family who can match his pace—one that loves hikes, backyard exploration, training games, and the delightful chaos of a high‑energy young dog learning the ropes. He’s smart, eager, and absolutely thrilled to be part of whatever you’re doing, whether that’s trekking through the woods or investigating a suspicious leaf in the yard.
With the right guidance, he’ll channel all that big energy into becoming a loyal, adventurous companion who’s always ready for the next outing.
If you’re looking for a spirited sidekick with charm, curiosity, and momentum to spare, Glansdale is ready to move in. Fill out an application today because Glansdale is waiting to find his new home with you.

Weekend Host Feedback: "Glansdale is such a sweet boy! He does have a lot of energy, but after a nice walk or a game of catch in the backyard, he is also content to snuggle up on the couch or in his crate for a nice long nap. He sleeps great through the night and is very content in his crate. He was amazing with our kids, never jumping on the littlest one (2 yo). He also was his most happy on a walk through the neighborhood or park. He was interested in other dogs and squirrels but easy to redirect back to the path. He was nervous in the car at first, but seemed to feel more comfortable over time, and jumped right into the car by the end. He did well with going potty outside but will need some reminders to go out as he is settling in to a new home. He really enjoys a chew toy and is learning to chew on toys instead of shoes and arms, but easy to redirect to a toy when he gets mouthy. He is very smart and made some progress on learning to "sit." He didn't bark at all. He had a great time splashing around at the Eno and was a perfect gentleman at the Farmer's Market. We truly loved our time with him and he will be a wonderful addition to a very lucky family. "
