Brownie has already overcome more than any puppy ever should. He and his two siblings were dumped in a busy neighborhood in Puerto Rico and left to fend for themselves. For nearly a month, they wandered the streets searching for food and safety, only to be chased away wherever they went. Their lives hung in the balance until one concerned person reached out to rescue with an urgent message: "Come pick them up, or I'm bringing them to be euthanized." Thankfully, rescue stepped in just in time and gave Brownie the fresh start he deserved.

Today, Brownie is safe, fully vetted, and thriving in his foster home in the States. He's a gentle, sweet boy who may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long before his loving personality shines through. Once he feels comfortable, he's all about pets, cuddles, and being close to his favorite people.
Brownie absolutely loves other dogs and is wonderful with children. He has a kind, easygoing nature and enjoys following his furry friends around, playing, and then curling up for a well-earned nap. Every day his confidence grows as he realizes the scary days of surviving on the streets are behind him.
