Meet azuki
Azuki is originally from Iowa. He is still a baby by Akita standards (1.5 years), but is also already very intelligent. He knows sit, lay down, roll over, shake, stand ("up" command) and touch (licks your hand), and is working on heel and come. Azuki loves the outdoors, so he would do well with an active owner. He does have a lot of energy, so training classes, outdoor adventures, and/or enrichment games would really make him happy. He LOVES to cuddle, so he needs an owner who will hug him frequently and let him sleep near them. He does talk back sometimes, but is overall a Good Boy and would thrive in an active, affectionate environment. He's silly (he likes to loaf like a cat), opinionated, smart, and loving. Since he is independent, he would do best with an experienced owner, especially one who knows about confident breeds.
