Bruno is a big, handsome stud muffin that is ready for adoption!

He was found with his sister, Coco, who is also available for adoption, on the back roads of south Texas. We believed they were dumped as there were no houses or people for miles and they were just 3 months old at the time they were found.

Bruno and Coco are estimated to be born around October 2025 – they have been in foster care since 3 months old.

Bruno is 55 lbs and Coco is 46 lbs.

Both Bruno and Coco are currently being fostered in a sanctuary in south Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. This amazing sanctuary is only a short term stop for these fur-babies until their forever homes are found.

What are his favourite toys?
Bruno LOVES ropes and ball throwing

What kind of dog is Bruno?
He is medium active, but he definitely gets his zoomies. He likes to cuddle, but definitely loves to play. He LOVES being next to his humans, attached at the hip if he could.

Bruno is crate trained.

He is VERY food and treat motivated.

What kind of home would Bruno thrive in?
One that is more active than not as he is still young and can be quite energetic at times. A perfect day for Bruno would be where he is swimming in a pool, laying in a pool or just running around and playing.

What do adopters need to know about him?
He is amazing, just needs patience with his training. He is very loving and just all around amazing.

This animal is fixed (spayed/neutered), heart worm positive (they have received the 30-day course of antibiotics and need to stay on heart worm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested then), current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast.

The adoption fee listed ($295) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast.

Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks:

We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the foster who has the animal for you to ask any specific questions regarding them.
