Meet richard
Richard was one of 9 puppies that our dog had shortly after adopting her in 2020 and the only one we kept. He will be 6 years old in November. He is a very energetic dog and would be perfect for someone with an active lifestyle. He’s been good with our 1.5 year old since he was born and is protective of him, but not in an aggressive way. Although he’s done well with our son, he would likely thrive better with older kids. It is necessary he go to someone without other pets and who is willing to work on his reactivity. He is reactive with most other animals, except our other dog who happens to be his mother. I know he has potential to be non reactive again, as he hasn’t been like this his whole life.With another baby on the way, we simply do not have the time or money to give Richard all he requires. He deserves a loving home with someone who can take him on adventures and teach him to be the best boy ever. This rehoming is to no fault of his own. I know he can be happier elsewhere.
