Meet havik
Say hello to Havik! He's a well behaved handsome old man looking for a forever home for his last remaining years. He's been with us since he was four and will be fourteen in October. Unfortunately, he cannot come with us as we move due to medical reasons.He carries a bad back right leg, a torn ligament, but he can still walk and move about with a limp. He struggles lightly with standing up, but can do just fine on his own either way. He's a good sport about it even in his older age. Though, he'll forever be young at heart and acts that way sometimes still. Havik is amazing with other animals and children, gets along with all of them. Dogs, cats and everything in between. (He is NOT dominant nor does he show it.)What he needs: A backyard, big or small. NO dog crates, he NEEDS to be able to move his leg. Inside dog ONLY, he cannot withstand the GA heat for too long due to his thick coat. Weekly grooming, someone willing to brush him thoroughly. Especially during winter transitions.
