Meet baron
Baron is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and affectionate with the people he trusts. He loves getting attention.
Baron is a 3 year old, 120 lb mastiff mix with guardian-type breeds in his mix. He is house trained, crate trained, and has a moderate energy level.
We want to be completely transparent: Baron has a history of struggling with unfamiliar people. He has had multiple incidents where he has snapped at children, and most recently had an incident where he made contact with an adults face, resulting in minor scratches.
Because of this, Baron needs a very specific type of home. We are looking for someone who:
Has experience with large guardian/reactive breeds
Understands dog behavior and the commitment involved
Has an adult-only home (no children and no plans for children) Can provide structure, boundaries, and lifelong management
Understands that he cannot freely interact with unfamiliar people and would need to be safely separated/managed around guest due to his history.
