Meet diva
My name is Diva and I am a 6-year-old Chihuahua gal weighing just under 7 lbs. Don't let my name fool you . . . I am NOT the kind of diva that is temperamental or expects special treatment. But, I am a diva in the positive sense of being confident! I am an absolute sweetheart and a happy gal who just wants to be near people. My foster mom says I am the perfect little girl!
Favorite Things: Diva is a big fan of toys (she can’t get enough of them). She also loves going for walks and would love to be able to hit the town with you.
Training & Manners: Diva is a smart pup and house trained when let out frequently in her foster home. She has a very gentle nature and quickly adjusts to new routines. Diva approaches new situations with confidence and curiosity and would make an excellent companion to take along on outings. She walks well on a leash and does well riding in a car (preferably to go out and about with you).
Health and Care: Diva is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and she had a recent dental cleaning. She’s a healthy gal and will just require monthly heartworm and flea medication (like all dogs). She is low maintenance . . . . occasional “at home spa days” with a bath and nail trim will keep her looking and feeling her best.
Other Animals: Diva has experience with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats and is indifferent to both in her foster home. She would do great in a home with other canine or feline friends, or she would be fine as an only dog as well.
Children: Because Diva is a tiny gal, she will do best in a home with respectful, older children (8+) who are supervised by the adults in the home.
Ideal Home: Diva isn’t choosy and would thrive in any type of home; from a single-family home to an apartment or condo. In her foster home, she has free rein of the house and can be left alone for several hours without issues. After a day of exploring and playing, she is content to curl up in her dog bed at night.
Overall: If you are looking for an affectionate, laid back and snuggly gal, Diva could be your perfect, loyal companion.
