Meet max
Max is a lovable golden-eyed boy with very expressive ears. He is some kind of medium size dog mix, and it is our best guess that he might have some beagle, chihuahua and maybe some lab in there. He is about 30-40 pounds. He is very loyal and dedicated and loves to cuddle. He easily gets along with all other dogs. He is about 10 years old and my parents rescued him when he was around 1+ after he had lived what must have been a stressful life. He still struggles with anxiety as evidenced by the way that he constantly follows his people. He barks at new people and it can take a while for him to stop barking, especially at men, but he is able to relax after a few minutes. He also is slightly hard of hearing.
