Meet spuds
Meet this young American Pit Bull Terrier—a happy, high-energy boy around 1–2 years old who is ready to start his real life with a family of his own.
Found wandering near a local college as a stray, he was never claimed despite efforts to locate his owners. He has since joined our rescue, where he has been fully vetted—he’s now vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and started on flea prevention. He’s healthy, thriving, and eager to move forward.
This boy is all about joy and movement. He is extremely playful and would absolutely thrive in an active home. He does wonderfully with other dogs, especially those who enjoy a good play session as much as he does. In fact, a playful canine companion would likely be his ideal match.
He is not suited for homes with cats. His enthusiasm is simply too much for them—he approaches them like they are fellow playmates, but they are not quite as excited about his very energetic style.
One of his absolute favorite things in the world is going for walks. The moment he sees a leash, he lights up with excitement and can barely contain himself. Walks are where he shines—he is curious, happy, and fully engaged with the world around him.
Inside the home, he is crate trained and settles well in his space when it’s time to rest and decompress.
This sweet boy is looking for a home that can match his energy, continue his training, and most importantly—include him in everyday life. He’s affectionate, fun-loving, and ready to be someone’s adventure buddy.
