Through no fault of his own, Milo and his lifelong companion, Lucy, found themselves at the shelter after their family went through a divorce and neither owner was able to continue caring for them. It's been a difficult adjustment to shelter life, and while they've always lived together, they are each looking for loving forever homes where they can settle in and be cherished once again.
Australian Shepherds are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and eagerness to be part of the family. While they were originally bred as working dogs, they also make wonderful companions for active households that enjoy spending time together.
