I’m looking to rehome my 9-year-old Chocolate Lab to a loving, active home. He is a trained working dog with experience fetching and retrieving for small game hunting. Since becoming pregnant and no longer hunting, I’ve spent the past 7 months trying to retire him and adjust him to a more relaxed house-dog lifestyle, but he still has a very high drive and needs more activity than I can provide.He absolutely loves playing with frisbees, chasing balls, and jumping into the water to retrieve bumpers. He would do best with an active person or family, especially someone who understands working breeds and can give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation and the time to house train him.
