Although Snoop IS house trained, he has developed a marking habit in the home since my son moved out with his dog. It isn’t a function of his not knowing right from wrong—he is intentionally doing so. I cannot leave him unattended in the home or he marks, which has resulted in majority of his time behind gates. This is not a good life for him and I don’t have the skill set to change the behavior. He needs someone to care for him who has the patience and background to provide the behavior modifications he needs. I wonder if a new environment would initiate a change in his behavior. He really is a sweet boy, other than that. Snoop is 6 years old.
