Meet xena
Xena is the sweetest girl. We adopted Xena from the Riverside Animal Shelter in September 2017. She's 10 years old. She enjoys watching TV, cuddling, getting fresh air, and going on short walks. She's not much of a toy dog, but if you give her a stuffed bear, she'll cuddle it like it's her baby. Xena has grown up around infants and children and has always been gentle with them. During COVID, she was a rockstar and helped her dog and cat friends receive love, comfort, and socialization while we fostered several animals from the shelter. Fun fact: Xena even lived with a baby pig named Bella for a while and shared a bed with her every night. Xena does have some anxiety, which she takes Prozac (fluoxetine) for. She will come with a few months' supply of Prozac, as well as an extra month of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention (Simparica Trio). She's up to date on her vaccines for 2026.
