Total Adoption Fee: $895
This includes our standard adoption fee of $395 plus an additional required $500 tax-deductible donation. Why the additional donation? Dogs with highly desirable traits—such as low-shedding coats and popular breeds—help us fund lifesaving care for dogs who need it most, including nursing moms, imaging and surgeries for dogs with traumatic injuries, and medications for those requiring lifesaving heartworm treatments. Your generosity makes this possible!

Meet Whimzee – Your Adventure Buddy, Toy Collector & Professional Goofball!
If life were a party, Whimzee would be the first one to greet every guest—and probably convince them to throw his squeaky toy a hundred times! This handsome poodle mix is a bundle of energy wrapped in fluffy white curls. Whether it’s chasing a tennis ball, proudly parading around with his favorite squeaky toy, splashing through the yard while you spray the hose, or taking a refreshing dip, Whimzee believes every day should include a little adventure. He’s always up for a walk but really shines when he gets to stretch his legs off leash in a safe space, showing off his zoomies and impressive hops.

Speaking of hops… don’t be surprised if you find him perched somewhere unexpected—Whimzee is part mountain goat and loves jumping onto (and off!) just about anything! Whimzee has never met a stranger. He’ll happily say hello to everyone he meets with his wagging tail and bright personality. He’s wonderful with kids and loves being part of the action. Like any loyal best friend, he’s also a little protective of the people and canine companions he loves most. Once you’re part of his inner circle, you’ve got a devoted sidekick for life.

One tiny disclaimer: Whimzee is a bit of an escape artist. If there’s a mystery to solve or an opening to investigate, he’ll be the first to volunteer! A secure yard and an adopter who appreciates his cleverness will help keep this curious explorer safe.
