davidson

This gorgeous wrinkle head is estimated to be a 7yr, 90lb bulldog mix. Davidson grabbed the attention of hundreds, shaking and shutdown in the OKC shelter, awaiting his scheduled euthanasia. He wouldn't even look at the foster when he was first saved. Within 2 hours, he was a CHANGED BOY seeking affection and reassurance. Davey Bones has been through so much, and is so deserving of love!

Davidson needs a family willing to be patient and respect his boundaries. He is very fearful of the car and being forced into tight spaces and hesitant with new people. He requires reassurance, confident but respectful handling, and some trazadone before car rides and the vet for good measure. An experienced dog owner with no kids under the age of 10 in the home would be best. He does well with other dogs with proper introductions and is totally fine with cats! He is crate trained and housebroken.

If you think you might be the perfect match for Davey, please complete an adoption application to schedule a meet and greet and prepare for a lifetime of smushy wrinkle head snuggles!!

Davidson is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention and negative for both heart worms and tick diseases.

Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!
