Meet Bernice!

If you're looking for the sweetest French Bulldog in the world...we think you've found her.

Bernice is a 2-year-old, 25-pound Frenchie with a heart as big as her adorable ears. She is one of the most loving, gentle, and affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. Her favorite place is right next to her person, and if you're sitting down, don't be surprised if she reaches out to hold your hand. It's her favorite way to remind you just how much she loves you.

Bernice came to us after being surrendered because of her medical needs. She arrived with a severe skin infection that left her covered in scabs and painful open wounds. She was also suffering from chronic, untreated ear infections that caused significant scarring and polyps, and she had not yet been spayed.

Since coming into our care, Bernice has received extensive treatment from a veterinary dermatologist, and we're thrilled to say she has made an incredible recovery. Through months of medications, specialized care, and repeated deep ear flushes, we were able to avoid the TECA surgery she was facing. Her ears are now healthy, her skin has healed beautifully, and she is finally comfortable.

To keep her feeling her best, Bernice will need to remain on her prescribed skin medications and a hydrolyzed diet for life. It's a small commitment for a dog who gives so much love in return.

Bernice is wonderful with other dogs, does well with cats, and would thrive in a home where she can be included as part of the family. She doesn't ask for much—just someone to love, a cozy place to nap, and plenty of time by your side.

After everything she's been through, Bernice has never lost her gentle spirit. She greets every day with love, trust, and a wagging tail. Now all she needs is a forever family who will cherish her as much as she deserves.
