Meet cova
Cova. Papered American Pit Bull. Born with cleft. Has healed broken tail. Spayed. Anxiety from previous trauma. We adopted her when she was approximately one year and have had her since 2020. Suspect she needs to be with larger or established dogs, probably no more than one dog. No interest in cats (our cat has tried to play with her for years and she ignores her). Best with older children. She did fine when our youngest was a toddler, but she has a lot of anxiety and is older now, so idk that she’ll do well with a young child right now. However, she does need people, even older kids. She needs chunkier kibble (currently on Purina One). Smaller kibble gets caught in her cleft. Her cleft is mostly cosmetic, though she does occasionally have to work through some kibble that gets caught in her palate (this does, unfortunately, smell like literal death).
