Meet persephone
Persephone is a solid, medium-energy girl who starts her outings calm and neutral-no pulling, no reactivity, just a steady stroll (with a touch of sass when she has a destination in mind). Once her business is done, she lights up, kicking into joyful zoomies like she's celebrating life itself. She knows sit, is potty trained, and warms quickly to new people while staying easygoing and composed. In the kennel, she's the picture of chill, often snoozing through the noise. Food is a clear favorite, but nothing beats a full-body scritch session, which she'll happily request with gentle nose kisses.Although she is heartworm positive, it is treatable and not contagious. To help with medical costs, a $600 sponsorship for treatment is available from Friends of Wake County Animal Center.
