At approximately 35 pounds, she’s the perfect size for both adventures and couch cuddles, and she’s searching for a patient, understanding family to call her own. Like many cattle dogs, Cori is deeply loyal and forms incredibly strong bonds with her people. While she may be a little reserved when meeting someone new, don’t let that fool you—once she decides you’re part of her inner circle, you’ll be rewarded with belly rub requests, sweet smiles, and a best friend for life. Watching Cori blossom and let her personality shine is truly something special. Cori is a medium-energy girl who enjoys the best of both worlds. In foster care, she has already made tremendous progress and continues to grow more confident every day. Cori enjoys the company of male dogs and would thrive in a home with a well-matched male companion or as your one-and-only canine princess. Due to her strong prey drive, she is looking for a cat-free home. A secure, physically fenced yard is also required so she can safely explore, play, and enjoy the sunshine. At bedtime, Cori’s favorite place to be is snoozing on a cozy dog bed next to her foster parents’ bed. While she is still working through some crate anxiety, she willingly enters her crate and has been making wonderful progress. One of Cori’s sweetest qualities is just how quiet she is—you won’t hear much barking from this lovely girl! Cori is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She’s healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever family!
