Meet joy
Joy was adopted at six months after having spent much of that time outdoors with a sibling. She has been living with an elderly owner who believes that Joy needs more interaction and play time than she is able to give. Joy is now a little over a year old.She is a sweet, affectionate dog with lots of energy. She was not properly trained to walk with a leash, come when called or cease barking on command, but with the proper training could probably learn these skills. She also digs some in the yard, but could probably be curbed with consistent instruction.She loves playing outside, so a fenced-in yard would be ideal, and since she spent her earliest months with another dog, a family with an existing dog open to a newby would also be beneficial. She is accustomed to coming in and out throughout the day.
