Meet atlas
Looking for the perfect home for our 2-year-old American Bulldog/Boxer mix.
This sweet, loving boy is looking for a family that can give him the life he deserves. We took him in from a family friend who wasn’t treating him well, so he can still be a little skittish at first. Despite that, he’s incredibly affectionate, loyal, and has so much love to give once he feels comfortable.
He is fully house trained, crate trained, and gets along wonderfully with other animals. In fact, he would thrive in a home with another larger dog that enjoys playing, as he loves having a canine companion.
The only reason we’re rehoming him is because he’s simply too big and energetic for our young children. He is not aggressive, but he doesn’t realize his size and has accidentally knocked our small children down several times, including on the stairs. For their safety, we’ve made the difficult decision to find him a home that’s a better fit.
We think he’d do best with adults or a family with older kids.
