Meet maui
Meet Maui! She is a 5 mo old female Black Mouth Cur/Siberian husky mix that weighs 27lbs. She came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 6/25 as she was abandoned. Maui is a beauty with soft, clean fur and docked tail. It appears she was well cared for at one time. She walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. She is Rescue Only due to an issue with possibly her hips or right leg. When walking her right leg is a bit stiff, and her gait a bit uneven. She doesn`t let this stop her tho. She gets around well and can`t resist a zoomie in the yard. She has a gentle loving personality and will lay down next to you to be close and cuddly. It`s very clear how wonderful of a loving companion she would be. Living indoors being showered with love and affection is what she dreams of. For further medical information, or if you wish to tag her, email the shelter at rescues@cityofmesquite.com with the subject line TAG 61258333. She is truly an amazing girl!
