Meet dory
Dory will be one year old July 15, 26. She weighs 10 lbs, although the breeder stated her parents were both 18lbs. She is a very sweet lap dog. She is 3/4 Cavalier King Charles Spaniel 1/4 poodle. She has been trained to use a mat indoors during the winter months. We have an electric roll away mat, which turns pet waste into a roll which I change about once a week. We have been training her to let us know when she needs to go out, in the warmer weather, but she seems to find it confusing, so you may just want to choose one method. We have not been successful in her telling us when she needs to go out. She will poop in front of the door, but not ring the bells we have hanging for her to let us know. She seems to be catching on, but not there yet. Our issue with her is her barking at squirrels. We live in a forest and have floor length windows where she can watch everything and she hates the squirrels. I refuse to use a shock collar. She needs a quiet environment. She is great otherwise.
