Ginger came to us in horrific condition, barely hanging on herself while doing everything she could to keep her puppies alive. She had been failed terribly by humans, but you’d never know it by the dog she is today.
Ginger has made a full recovery, left that awful past behind her, and turned into the BEST little girl with a huge personality and an even bigger love for life.
She’s a pint-sized powerhouse who believes everything should be done at full speed. Zoomies in the yard, toys, chew bones, car rides, adventures... Ginger is here for ALL of it.
Ginger is dog friendly and cat friendly. She loves playing with other dogs and can be an enthusiastic playmate, so a canine buddy who appreciates her energy would be a great match. She also respects the cats in her foster home and has adapted beautifully to being an indoor dog.
She is completely house trained, crate trained, doing great on a leash and harness, and very food motivated, which makes training pretty easy. She loves being with her people but also has an independent side and is perfectly happy entertaining herself when everyone else has had enough of her shenanigans.
Ginger can be vocal, jumpy, and a little mouthy when she gets excited, so a home without small children would be best.
Her foster says she has been surprisingly easy to have around. Considering everything this girl survived, watching her become this happy, goofy, confident little dog has been pretty incredible.
Her past may have been awful, but Ginger doesn't live there anymore. Now she just needs the family who gets to be part of everything that comes next.
Ginger’s adoption fee is $300 and includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip.
