Meet lonzo
Lonzo is an 8 year old Giant pup full of love. Lonzo got out of East Valley just in time and is doing great with Foster and his foster siblings!
Kind, mellow, loving. He loves pets, cuddling, hanging out while you read. He is easy to leash and walk (strong pull until he pees, then med). Can’t get enough of people! Friends, foster, strangers - loves everyone.
Background - Lonzo may have been stolen for breeding. He was found tied up in a U-Haul with 7 other dogs. Neglected, emaciated. Despite this, he is gentle and loving.
🐕🦺 He would thrive in a home with no other dogs, or a gentle, female dog - slow intros are always a must
🐕🦺 On walks and when passing other dogs, he has been non-reactive, runs alongside or explores, and calm even when aggressive/assertive dogs bark at him
He recently had his eye removed from an old trauma and a benign tumor. He is doing absolutely great with his new identity as a Pirate!
💜💜We cannot fail this resilient, loving guy.💜💜All he needs is a loving home to live out his senior years. Please reach out with any leads, so we can keep him from going back to the shelter
