Summer Shandy is a confident, social butterfly who never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. Whether she's greeting visitors, joining family activities, or soaking up attention from her favorite humans, she's happiest when she's part of the action. While she gets along wonderfully with the dogs, cats, and children in her foster home, it's clear that people are her favorite. If given the choice, she'll pick human companionship every time!

This food-motivated girl is always eager to learn and loves earning treats for a job well done. She's also a huge fan of playing catch with her ball and will happily show off her retrieving skills whenever you're ready for a game. Once playtime is over, she's just as content to curl up nearby and relax. She has mastered the art of balancing fun and downtime, making her a wonderful fit for many different lifestyles.

She is curious, friendly, playful, and always excited to see what the day has in store. She enjoys leash walks and is a fantastic walking companion. She can get a little excited and jumpy at times, especially when meeting new people, but she redirects easily and is eager to please.

In a multi-dog home, Summer likes to be the one calling the shots. She does well with calm, respectful dogs and would thrive with canine companions who are comfortable letting her take the lead. She could also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only pup.
