Hi, My name is Geode! I am very playful and friendly, and if you give me the chance, I will lick your face nonstop. I like to play with other dogs, love to be outside, go on walks, and play with every toy imaginable! I sleep in my kennel at night without crying, even though this is my first time living in a home. I've been living at the shelter since I was found roaming as a stray when I was only 12 weeks old. You’d never guess it, though, as I'm still happy and carefree! I do need to learn some inside manners but my foster family is helping me with that. I just love to jump and play, so they say I would probably do best with older children.

I was part of the "Operation Save 50" and was rescued from the St. Tammany Parish shelter to save my life. I'm so very grateful!

If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.

Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!

**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue in Mandeville, LA.
