Meet bernie
Bernie showed up my parents' house out in the country about 6 years ago as a young dog. He stays outdoors and adapted well to the other two dogs. He might have been abused as a puppy because he does not like water or sticks and seems to prefer women. However, he has learned to trust my Dad. My Mom did some obedience work with Bernie, and he was very willing to learn. He is such a sweet dog, and I would love to find him a loving forever home perhaps an older woman with a large yard or out in the country or at a barn. His shots are up to date, and I will be taking him soon to be groomed and neutered. Please consider giving Bernie a new home! He is so sweet, gentle and calm if not a bit slow to warm to a person. He loves to squeak, bark and get silly every time he sees me. He did amazing when I took him to the vet.
