Meet Rio, aka River — The Handsome Boy With a Heart as Big as His Smile!
If you’ve been waiting for that special pup who is sweet, social, well-mannered, and ridiculously photogenic, stop scrolling — Rio might be your guy!
Rio is an adorable 2-year-old Retriever mix who is absolutely thriving in his foster home. He’s taking his time getting comfortable with kennel training, and he’s making great progress. He’s already potty trained, walks like a champ on leash, and is proving what a wonderful companion he can be.
But Rio’s favorite thing? Other dogs! He absolutely LOVES having canine friends around and seems to take cues from other dogs beautifully. Whether he’s playing, exploring, or simply hanging out with his furry buddies, Rio is happiest when he has a friend nearby.
And did we mention he’s a total model? Seriously, this boy knows how to work the camera. Those adorable looks combined with his sweet personality make him almost impossible not to fall in love with!
Rio is putting in the work, learning every day, and showing his foster family just how special he is. Now he just needs someone to give him the forever home he deserves.
Rio has the looks. He has the personality. He has the doggy-friend skills. All he needs now is YOU!
