Meet Millie, a beautiful and incredibly sweet Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix girl who has already endured far more hardship than any dog should. When a compassionate teenager found her wandering as a stray and brought her to safety, Millie weighed only 34 pounds — far below the healthy 50–70 pound range for a female Treeing Walker Coonhound. Severely emaciated, with an estimated body condition score of just 1, she is now in the care of Misty Eyes where she is receiving the careful nutrition and support she needs to regain weight safely.Despite everything she has been through, Millie’s gentle spirit shines brightly. She is loving, affectionate, and grateful for every bit of kindness she receives. As she continues to heal and gain strength, Millie is sure to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion who will reward her future family with endless love.
