Meet bear

Hi, my name is Bear.

My dad says I’m somewhere between 7 and 11 years old, but I still don’t act like an old man other than snoozing most of the day. I weigh about 44 pounds, love going for walks, and if you throw a tennis ball, I’ll be your best friend.

A little over seven months ago, I was found in the front porch when my dad bought his house in St Albans. Nobody is quite sure how long I had been on my own, but I decided this place looked pretty good and stuck around. Since then, I’ve learned what it’s like to have a warm bed, regular meals, daily walks, and someone who actually cares about me.

I’m house trained, crate trained, ride well in the car, and generally just like being near my people.

I get along well with most dogs and have done well around kids.

Unfortunately, my dog brother Earl has just not been accepting of another male dog and our trainer suggested finding me a new home.
My dad says he is willing to travel to help me find that furrever home!
