If you adore doxies and have been looking for amazingly loving, sweet companionship- this unbelievable duo will steal your heart! Brennie and Snickers came into a shelter after their owner sadly passed. It was clear that this was the only home that they’d ever had. They are beautifully bonded and love each other so very much. It was immediately evident that they were so confused, and their hearts were broken from the loss of their owner and the only home they’d ever known. When our volunteer spotted them, her heart just broke for them. We all chatted and knew that the only way we could guarantee that this amazing pair wouldn’t lose each other would be if we agreed to take them in! There was just no way we could leave them behind.
Since then these two darlings have had all of their medical work completed! Brennie is the brindle female and she is 6-7 years young and her ideal weight is 12 lbs! Her beloved Snickers is 4-5 years old and he is also ideally 12 lbs. they lost a couple lbs due to stress at the shelter but they’re working to gain that back and doing great! They have both tested negative for heartworm and have had vaccines completed, as well as deworming, microchipping, preventative, and they’ve been spayed and neutered! This incredible pair have now had everything completed and are officially ready to find their forever home!!
These two are the most tender, sweet, gentle pups. They have been fabulous with other dogs and cats, and are very peaceful babies. They aren’t sure what to make of everything now that their world has been turned upside down, but their confidence grows by the day. They are so wonderfully snuggly and love to cuddle with each other, and with you! They will curl up together in your lap and soak up as much love as they can. They have been wonderful about reliably going potty outside and have been so easy going to care for. They are relaxed with other dogs as well as cats and will adjust well if their new home has other furry family members.
These two are so devoted to each other, and are longing to find true love again with parents who will cherish and adore them. They are such peaceful, loving pups and can’t wait to find a forever home with easy going parents who love to snuggle!
