Thor has been a beloved member of our family since 2017. We adopted him as a puppy to be an emotional support animal for my son who is neurodivergent and has PTSD. It is not an exaggeration to say the he saved my son's life many times over the past 8 1/2 years. Unfortunately, my son has been battling addiction over the past couple years and we've come to a point where he is no longer able to care for Thor. I've had Thor for the past 7 months but my work schedule (50 hours per week, and regular travel) does not allow me to be there for Thor the way he deserves. I am looking for a new home for him where he can get what he needs and deserves.
Thor does well with other dogs. He has never been around cats so I'm not sure. He is fine with kids--meaning, kids love him but he is not a fan of small children. He has never nipped or bitten a child (anyone) ever (allows my 16 month old grandson to pet him) but just tries to keep his distance. Kids 10ish and up, he likes. He is a wonderful dog!
