Meet Alexis, a sweetheart with a silly streak and a serious passion for birdwatching!

Alexis is the kind of dog who believes the best relationships are worth taking your time with. She prefers to observe from a distance before deciding you're worthy of her friendship, but once you've earned her trust, prepare to lose all personal space forever! Alexis becomes a devoted cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to be close to her favorite people.

This sensitive girl has a wonderfully expressive personality! She loves collecting squeaky toys and carefully arranging them in her bed, enjoys long naps, and can often be found following her foster brother around to see what exciting things he's doing. She also takes her backyard birdwatching duties very seriously and can spend impressive amounts of time supervising the local wildlife.

Alexis has a hilarious snorting sound she pulls out whenever she's feeling annoyed or isn't getting her way, making her foster swear she's part cow, part moose, and part dog. She has a sweet, spunky side that emerges more and more as her confidence grows.

Alexis does best with another calm, confident dog in the home who can help show her the ropes and provide reassurance when the world feels overwhelming. She thrives with patience, structure, and people who allow her to warm up at her own pace. Once Alexis loves you, she loves you completely.

Alexis is estimated to have been born in June 2025 and weighs 46lbs. She is a mixed breed dog who is part Husky, Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, and Boxer!  If you're looking for a loyal companion, expert cuddler, toy collector, and birdwatching partner, Alexis may just be your perfect match.

Alexis’s adoption fee is $450. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
