Marcus forms strong attachments to his trusted people, but he needs time and patience when meeting unfamiliar people. He can be reactive toward other dogs while on leash and has sometimes reacted unpredictably toward strangers and children. Marcus has a bite history, so an adult-only home with experienced, responsible dog guardians is essential. His ideal adopter will understand canine behavior, recognize his boundaries, and be comfortable continuing positive, consistent training.
