Meet axel
Meet Axel ❤️, a handsome 6-year-old chocolate Lab mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for his people. Once he trusts you, he is incredibly loyal and affectionate. He enjoys walks, playing fetch, lounging around the house, and being close to the people he loves. He's intelligent, eager to learn, and happiest when he has structure and a routine.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family. We love Axel dearly, but after welcoming our baby, we've realized that we can no longer provide the environment where he can be his best self.
Axel struggles with reactivity and can become anxious when he feels overwhelmed. He has a bite history, and because of this, he needs an experienced owner who understands reactive dogs and is committed to managing his environment and continuing positive training.
Axel would thrive in:
An adult-only home
A calm, predictable environment with minimal chaos
Someone experienced with reactive dogs
A home with lots of walks and exercise
