My name is Bell, and I am a sweet little girl looking for a forever home. Sadly, my owner passed away, and I found myself in a municipal shelter where I was frightened and unsure of what would happen next. Thankfully, ARNO rescued me, and now I am thriving in a loving foster home.I am an affectionate little Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love. While I can be shy around strangers and take a little time to feel comfortable, once I trust you, I become the sweetest, calmest companion imaginable. My biggest, most expressive smile is sure to melt your heart.I love spending time with my person, whether that's enjoying belly rubs, curling up in your lap, going for a leisurely walk, taking a car ride, or simply relaxing together on the front porch. I am a champion snuggler and blanket burrower who will happily curl up beside you at bedtime. I am quiet, well-mannered, house-trained, and pad-trained.I get along well with my foster dog sister, but my favorite place is right by my human's side. Because of that, I would likely be perfectly happy as an only pet soaking up all the attention. I am not aggressive in any way, but I am very timid around new people, dogs, and children, so introductions should be slow, gentle, and patient.Once I feel safe and secure, my sweet personality shines. I have a goofy sense of humor, form a strong bond with my person, and am happiest in a quiet home where I can relax, feel loved, and maybe spend my afternoons napping in a sunny window.If you're looking for a devoted lap dog, professional snuggler, and loyal best friend, I may be the perfect match for you.
