Meet Fritz!
Fritz is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu weighing about 12 pounds, and while he may be a little different, he is every bit as lovable as they come. This sweet boy is looking for a family that will appreciate his joyful spirit and give him the love he deserves.

Fritz is considered special needs due to severe dry eye that went untreated before coming into rescue. Unfortunately, this caused scarring that has left him mostly blind. Even so, Fritz doesn't let that stop him from enjoying life! He may not always know exactly what's going on around him, but he tries his very best and approaches each day with a happy attitude.

One of Fritz's favorite things in the world is treats. In fact, when he gets excited for dinner time or a tasty snack, he sometimes starts spinning in circles with excitement, which is as adorable as it sounds! His cheerful personality and sweet nature make him impossible not to love.

Fritz is crate trained and is currently working on his house training. He will also need a little extra help learning to walk confidently on a leash as he adjusts to navigating the world with limited vision.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Fritz remains a happy, loving little guy who is ready to bring smiles and companionship to his forever family. If you're looking for a special dog with a big heart, Fritz is waiting to meet you.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
