This handsome almost-7-year-old is the definition of low-drama, high-reward companionship. He is fully house trained and knows how to use a dog door.A mixed breed with what looks to be some lab and hound in him, Remi has all the best qualities of both — the loyal, gentle warmth of a Labrador and that classic hound soul that’s equal parts soulful and unhurried. He’ll happily accept ear scratches and belly rubs, then trot off to claim the coolest tile in the house for a long, luxurious nap.His coat is thick and impossibly soft — he runs warm and knows it, which is why you’ll often find him stretched out on the kitchen floor like he owns the place (he kind of does). At nearly seven, Remi has settled beautifully into himself: calm, confident, and completely at ease with the world. His easygoing energy fits right into busy or relaxed households.

Remi gets along great with other dogs — no fuss, no drama, just vibes. Got cats? Cool with him. Remi’s not here to start anything. He loves affection but doesn’t need to be glued to your side 24/7 and his independent streak makes him a great fit whether you work from home or away from it. He doesn’t need constant entertainment — just kindness, a cool spot to lounge, and the occasional belly, ear or chest scratch.
