💕🐾 Hi there! My name is Kiera! 🐾💕I'm a 4-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix weighing just 7 pounds, but don't let my tiny size fool you—I have a huge heart and enough love to fill an entire house! My favorite thing in the whole world is being close to my people, and I'm hoping my forever family is out there looking for a little shadow just like me. Life wasn't always easy for me. Before coming to the shelter, I was one of many dogs rescued from a cruelty and neglect hoarding situation. Food wasn't always easy to find, and we were left locked inside an abandoned home for what everyone believes was several weeks. Because of those conditions, I came in with some skin issues, but thanks to good food, veterinary care, and lots of love, I'm feeling so much better now. ❤️ The funny thing is, even after everything I've been through, I still think people are pretty wonderful. I have nothing but love to give, and I'm ready to spend the rest of my life showing my family just how grateful I am. I absolutely adore other dogs and would be happy to have a gentle canine sibling to play with. I also love kiddos and do wonderfully with elderly people. I'm a sweet little social butterfly who just wants everyone around me to be happy. 🥰Even though I'm small, I still love to run, play, and have fun! I get excited about toys, adventures, and especially treats. If you happen to have a yummy snack in your pocket, we'll probably become best friends very quickly. 🍖✨ One of my favorite things is being held and cuddled. I'll happily curl up in your arms like I was made to fit there. I love being doted on, loved on, and included in whatever you're doing. If you let me, I'll follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Being close to my people makes me feel safe and happy. I enjoy exploring the world around me but am still unsure about the leash, I prefer to be carried. I'm curious and observant, but I always like checking in to make sure my favorite person is nearby. Every day my confidence grows a little more as I learn that life can be full of kindness and love. What I want most is a family of my own—a place where I never have to worry about being hungry or alone again.
