Hiya Friends! My name is Athena and I'm a beautiful 3yr old female German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport.
Quick Facts
Age: 3yrs old
Kids: teenage or adult home preferred
Dogs: good with large male dogs
Cats: NO cats
Training: needs standard obedience training
1. I have been a frequent flyer at a government run high kill shelter. The 'greeder' who use to own me didn't care about me, only the puppies I'd produce. I was set to be euthanized when IDGSR stepped in and saved me!
2. I'm an affectionate, friendly, and lovely gal. I love getting tummy rubs, playing in the yard, and exploring. I would love to have a nice male doggo to play with!
3. I am house & kennel trained and listen decent. I do need to get a PHD in obedience so will you paw-promise to train me?
4. I am fairly mellow but would love to go on walks, hikes, or adventures. If you like workin in the flowerbeds, taking road trips, cooking in the kitchen, or watching soap operas, I'll be your shadow!
5. If you've been looking for a beautiful, resilient, friendly, athletic, smart, curious, and overall amazing new companion - I'm your girl!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
