This adorable little girl is Lucy and she's 5-6 months old and weighs 21 lbs. She'll likely be 40ish pounds when she's fully grown. If you're looking for a calm, gentle puppy with a heart of gold, Lucy may just be your perfect match! We're not sure of her breed...she's a Heinz 57 Mega Mutt and the only thing for sure is she's super adorable and sweet!

She's living with a wonderful Foster family who have 4 children (ages 6, 7, 9, and 12) and does wonderfully with them. She's sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she feels safe and loved. She rides beautifully in the car, loves treats, and has quickly become a favorite in her foster home. While most puppies are bouncing off the walls, Lucy is more of an old soul with an energy level around a 3/10 a true dream dog. And can we talk about that adorable heart-shaped nose?

Lucy can be a little shy when meeting new people and situations. She takes time to warm up, but once she trusts you, her loving personality shines through. She'll thrive with a patient family willing to continue building her confidence through positive experiences, socialization, and leash training.

Lucy loves following her foster dog sister around the yard, playing with squeaky toys, going for car rides, and earning treats. She gets along great with other dogs but doesn't necessarily need a canine companion to be happy.

Like any puppy, Lucy is still learning about the world around her. Her future family should be prepared to continue working on leash skills, socialization, and all the normal puppy basics as she grows.

Lucy is healthy, house trained, crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate. What she does need is someone who understands that the best things in life are worth a little patience.
