- Prefers to explore and do their own thing here in the shelter, but will likely open up more once she's in a home environment and has had time to decompress - Loves toys and likes giving kisses- Does well on a leash - Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip: "Jade is such a sweetheart! She loved sniffing around and investigating and enjoyed the walk. She loved pets and belly rubs, enjoyed a brushing and had some cuddle time. She didn't play much with toys and didn't want any treats. She was mellow and sweet." - Has a history of being stressed by young, noisy or busy children, but has done OK with kids who are calm and polite (mature home recommended) - Has done well with like-minded dogs and may enjoy a dog friend in her new home - Has struggled with medical handling, specifically needles, and would benefit from a veterinarian who uses Fear Free techniques This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
