I am also very smart and pick up training very quickly. The right humans for me will love my sense of humor, maybe have one or two other dogs I can play with, and take me on long walks, then snuggle me afterwards. I am house-trained, and I have been crate trained, but I do not like it, and I will sing, or yell, the song of my people while crated. I’m good at being left out, but I might need an adjustment period to my new home’s schedule. When I’m excited, I bark at other dogs on leash, but it’s because I want to meet everyone. I also have a delicate stomach, so I’m on a special diet, and no matter how much I beg, you cannot give me human food!     My foster mom is a dog trainer and will definitely help my new family get me settled with training sessions and resources.  Apply today, I'm ready and waiting to meet you! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs.
