Meet HoratioHoratio is a sweet, affectionate boy who has blossomed in foster care! This handsome guy is housetrained, loves being with his people, and has a serious talent for making himself comfortable—whether that means curling up beside you on the couch or “pancaking” on the ground after a long walk.Horatio is happiest when he is getting attention from his humans. He loves to play, especially tug-of-war and fetch, and his foster says his dream day would involve plenty of pets, playtime, and being right alongside his people. He is incredibly food motivated and a smart boy who is eager to learn.His walks are generally easy, and while he may pull occasionally, he responds well to reassurance. He can also be a little opinionated about where he wants to go and may dramatically flop down if he disagrees with your chosen direction! He did great in the car and enjoys exploring with his nose.Horatio has been wonderful with the cat in his foster home. He respects the cat`s boundaries, backs off when asked, and doesn`t react when the cat gives him a correction. He has not yet had direct interaction with other dogs, but he shows little interest in dogs or squirrels while out walking.Horatio may have needed a few days to settle in, but once he felt safe, his sweet personality really came out. He is a loyal little shadow who likes to know where his people are and may even follow you from room to room. If you`re looking for a loving, playful companion who wants to be part of the action—and is always ready for a game of tug—Horatio might be your guy!
