Hi! My name is Tay Tay.I`m so thankful that Almost Home Foundation rescued me. I finally feel safe, loved, and cared for. My foster mom takes wonderful care of me, and her own dog is an Almost Home alum, too! We get along really well. He`s getting up there in age, though, so I`d love to have a younger buddy to run and play with. Sometimes I follow him around the yard, and he even waits for me at the door. He`s a good friend.I absolutely LOVE toys, and my foster mom has a huge toy collection for me to choose from! One of my favorite things to do is race around the yard as fast as I can with a toy in my mouth. I can really fly! The boy next door comes over to play with me sometimes, and I think he`s great. I`m still a little shy around groups of kids or people I don`t know, but with a little patience, I warm up.My foster mom is working with me on potty training and I`ve made great progress, but I`ll probably need your help to get the hang of it. I promise I`m a smart boy and will get the hang of it in no time.I`m not a big fan of my crate, but my foster mom says I`m such a good boy that I don`t really need one. I sleep with her at night and have lots of cozy doggy blankets to snuggle into. I`ve also been very respectful in the house—I haven`t chewed up anything except a few of my toys!Leashes are still a little scary for me, but we`re working on that, too. My foster mom is taking me to doggy school so I can learn all the basics and become the best dog I can be. If I do really well, I`ll even earn a certificate!My very favorite thing in the whole world is curling up on someone`s lap for a cuddle in a quiet home.
